The Orange County Cop Bowl Association is pleased to announce our 34th year as a charitable organization.

Throughout our 34 years, the Orange County Lawmen have raised over $1,000,000.00 to assist Orange County’s children who are in need.

The Lawmen Football team is comprised of sworn law enforcement and fire personnel throughout the greater Orange County area.

The Orange County Lawmen compete in a nationwide football league known as the N.P.S.F.L. (National Public Safety Football League). All 26 teams that participate in the league are also comprised of sworn law enforcement and fire personnel. The goal of each team in the league is to play competitive football, and most importantly, raise money for each teams’ chosen charity.

The Orange County Lawmen are pleased to announce the selection of the Orangewood Children’s Home as their 2010 children’s charity. The Orangewood Children’s Home is located in the City of Orange, and is the primary emergency shelter for Orange County’s children. The facility provides refuge for about 2,700 children each year.

These children have been taken into protective custody due to issues related to neglect, physical or emotional abuse, and unfit parenting. The facility hosts numerous programs that are beneficial to the healing of these children. These programs also help ease the child into a new temporary living environment.

With your generous contribution the Orange County Lawmen can help keep the activities of the Home operating. In addition to providing normal day-to-day living conditions for the children, the Orangewood Home also assists the children with numerous onsite programs. Some of these programs include preschool through 12th grade education, youth and toddler pools, fully equipped gymnasium, softball field and basketball room. These programs are essential in fostering the well being of these displaced children.

The Orange County Cop Bowl Association is a not for profit charitable organization, recognized by the IRS as a Tax Code 501 C.3 (Tax ID #95-3842787) charitable organization. Your donation is tax deductible.
